6G
What is the problem?
Future radios talk about many antennas and many beams. Most people never get a sentence that says what that changes for a person holding a device.
Why should I care?
If the radio can aim energy and attention more carefully, a student device might waste less battery and a crowded room might stay usable. That is a hypothesis, not a result published here.
Try it as a sentence
MIMO means the radio uses more than one antenna so it can hear and speak with more spatial detail. Beam selection is choosing which of those directions to try.
